Can't Play Resident Evil 5? (E_FAIL: XLiveInitialize(&xii)

If your got this error, E_FAIL: XLiveInitialize(&xii). Then you have the same problem as me, and after long hours of researching for the solution. Alas! I already found one. So this article will show you on how to solve this kind of problem on how to resolve this issue: E_FAIL: XLiveInitialize(&xii)



Solution: Just change the XLIVE.DLL TO XLIVESTART.DLL and after that you can already play Resident Evil 5. Happy Playing! if you don't have xlive.dll file click here to download.

    Hey i solve it. Just put the xlive.dll file in the resident evil file then change the xlive.dll name to xlivestart.dll. It works forme

    I have the exact same f***ing problem with resident evil 5.

    I try to connect games for windows live, but there's a message: can't connect to internet...or something like that....

    I tried a lot...but a lot of solutions...but It just...doesn't work...

    I played RE5 just fine..until I got this message of error xlive sh**...

    guys ple listen go to http://www.mediafire.com/download/fj1igy6mh51xmhb/xlive.rar download a file copy the file paste on your game folder then run the game in my computer its work try to your computer
