Yesterday me and my Girlfriend decided to watch a movie and we come to an agreement that it would be this film, so I wrote something about it, It may be a movie review or a summary or even both.
All in all I would give the movie a 7 out of 10, for its story line, suspense, cinematography etc.
Movie Summary and Review:
This movie is particularly stunning because it magnifies the relevance of class struggle, the unabated life and death choices and those complex sacrifices throughout the film.
At first the movie started depicting the surviving members
of humanity which is on board in a super train.
The Super train was their only means of survival against the extreme cold weather. And such super train was being checked by its so called “benevolent” creator who is keeping the pre-ordained balanced of this place.
The Super train was their only means of survival against the extreme cold weather. And such super train was being checked by its so called “benevolent” creator who is keeping the pre-ordained balanced of this place.
The pre-ordained balance was symbolically portrayed when one
of the antagonists of the film, Mason categorically explained that a shoe
should be worn by their feet and not be placed in their heads. “I am the head,
and you’re the shoe, so know your place!”
This precise pre-ordained balanced was about to be shaken by
their mediated plan for rebellion, and throughout this preparation, I could not
stop my mind reverberating what Karl Marx have said, “Workers of the world unite;
you have nothing to lose but your chains.” Although they are not workers, but being
survivors, they have the same kind of existence since they are kept under the
peripheries of the social strata.
These marginalized people was labeled “tail train people,” just
like any other societies you will stand in awe by their basic questions in
life, “Why do they have those, why do we have to suffer these? Why can’t we eat
chicken? Why can’t we eat meat?” And these considerations became one of their
reasons to topple the system of oppression and unequal distribution on what is
supposed to be theirs.
Unsatisfied by the Status Quo, the tail train people lead by
their leader with a wavering heart rushed throughout the gates, employing their
plan for more than 10 years, having tough choices and sacrifices and witnessing the wealth which other train people
have been enjoying throughout their years of their suffering, only to found out
that their rebellion, their plan was also a part of a mediated scheme by the "benevolent" creator of the train to
preserve the pre-ordained status quo and having such knowledge, the leader is
now confronted with a question to preserve and be the leader of the status quo, which he was
fighting for years, or to reject the whole system
and start anew.
